Writing about late-diagnosed autism and ADHD.
Hi, I’m Danielle. Welcome to my website. I write and create videos about late-diagnosed autism and ADHD, identity, unmasking, and what it means to live for decades without the language to explain yourself.
Much of my work focuses on autism and ADHD in women, particularly those diagnosed later in life. Through long-form writing, short-form video, and family life vlogs on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, I explore neurodivergence with honesty and nuance. I am also producing UNSEEN, a documentary examining the overlooked and misunderstood realities of autistic and ADHD experience.
I was diagnosed autistic and ADHD at 43. The diagnosis gave me language for what I had carried for years. It also made something painfully clear: many women never receive that clarity.
Instead, they are labelled difficult, dramatic, unstable, or “too much” while the real story remains invisible. They learn to blame themselves. They shrink. They mask. They endure until they cannot anymore.
If any part of that resonates, you are not alone. You are in the right place.
UNMASKED
A self-help guide for late-diagnosed autistic souls.
You were never broken. You were just unrecognised.
Unmasked blends memoir with practical guidance for late-diagnosed autistic souls, covering masking, burnout, misdiagnosis, and the slow work of coming home to yourself.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, self-identifying, or still exploring, this is validation, clarity, and a steadier next step.
